There and back again
Oh. My goodness wow. So, this has been a month. Yah, so the homeowner needed to sell the property, told everyone to GTFO, we got out pretty quickly to be safe rather than wait till the last minute, there was several weeks of bantering between the homeowner, the property manager, the local council, and the tenants, the eviction paperwork wasn't filled out right, then in May the laws here changed so no-fault evictions are no longer allowed, the homeowner sold it to himself, in an odd sort of way (just to avoid a lot of details), we have a new property manager (for other details), everyone is allowed to stay there thanks to the new laws, so we dragged all our stuff back, exact same room, exact same everything, it's just cleaner now, and we're more organized in there as a bonus. So yah, we forked away a pile of money on several van rental costs, but in the end, everything is the exact same lol. It was basically akin to a hotel stay, aaaand I got a bookshelf that was sitting beside a dumpster out of the deal. So silver linings, more organized, cleaner, got rid of a few bags of old clothes we didn't want any more (charity shopped), and I got a bookshelf, so all of my D&D books can go there now. Nice.
Whew, so with all of that chaos out of the way, we can get back to normal. I'll post art updates with the regular comic, which I can work on a lot easier now that I have an end table beside me again lol.
!!Right, the three signs!! We have two of the signs already, and by signs, I mean somewhat unnecessary spending for fun, on something of not insignificant cost, also the purchasings of which led me to think that I may be ready to leave survival mode.
Sign 1: Purchasing of the peridot dice set
Sign 2: Purchasing of the should she open it or should she keep it sealed item
Sign 3: Unknown, possibly as uninteresting as upgrading my phone, since a lot of apps are just kinda... stopping working properly at this point.
Aaaaand we wait for that. I'm hopeful, I had said in Real Zebeth 82 that I've been in survival mode since 2015, so... it's honestly scary. It's scary to think that I might not be curled up in a ball defending myself soon. That I might be able to stop saying that I'm reusing floss soon. That bean soup gruel is done soon (who am I kidding, I've come to love bean soup lol CHEAP NUTRIENT FOOD WOOH, I could be a millionaire and I'll still be eating bean soup, Abby maybe not lol). That I might be able to not stress so hard when taking out my debit card. That might happen soon. And it's legitimately scary. I'm not sure how to handle that. So we'll wait for sign 3 before I cross that bridge. If life should be so kind as to offer me that sign, expect another comic for it. December 28, 2015... it would be nice to have an end date to that span of time.

Long story, see below, but things are looking up again. It's... been a rollercoaster. In short, laws changed, no-fault evictions aren't allowed any more, and... I feel lighter, better now.
I hesitate to say, but... I may actually leave survival mode yet this year! I've decided that I want to see three signs first, and two of them have already happened. It may happen yet.
