Not one... not two... but THREE, count 'em, THREE Hold-Em caches in the same day! I can't say I specifically planned it or expected to do that or anything, but hey... can't go wrong when it comes up Smile.

In either case... my second-last cache of the day, and the last Hold-Em cache for this outing. Come to think of it... ARE there any more? Hmm... mental note... look into that sometime. Not that it matters all that much... I'm WAY too late for the contest ToungeOut. And I'll be getting any other Hold-Em caches as time goes by regardless Smile.

I parked at what I thought would be the nearest parking available (I think I was correct... I ended up about 150 meters from the coordinates) and hoofed it the rest of the way. There wasn't much wind or drizzle or anything, so it was quite a nice, relaxing hike actually. Not much traffic, nice brisk air in the lungs, and getting to head into the trees. What more can one ask for in fall? Nothing I say! NOTHING! MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!

*ahem* As I was saying... yes, a nice walk indeed. As I started to home in on the coordinates, I poked around here and there and discovered that there seems to be quite a lot of places a cache could hide. I ended up searching about 10 different spots where the coordinates put me (despite that they kept moving around back and forth for said 10 minutes. As I've said on other logs... seems to be a bad day for accuracy), and slowly expanded my search a little bit. Didn't take much expanding before my eyes caught a glimpse of the cache container. Looking at my GPS to see how far I was from the posted coordinates, I found that the GPS now said that said coordinates were where I was standing. Thanks GPS... really helpful leading me to the right spot right off the bat there ToungeOut.

But kicking around in the trees was quite relaxing, and I'm glad I got to spend a little bit of time in there. If I was a kid, I could SO see that area as being a place I'd build a fort or something ToungeOut.

Cracking open the cache container, I discovered a Diabetes TB (going to Spain no less... don't know how much I can help it get THERE, but I'll keep 'er moving, anyway), and poked around a bit. Not seeing anything else that particularily caught my eye (although one thing I should have traded for. I can't remember what it was, but I remember that I was thinking about it and then regretted not trading for it later ToungeOut), I signed up the logbook and lobbed in a chainmail ball.

Thanks for the fun trio of caches, and the adventures through the many tree-filled areas Smile.

Although, on another note... this cache was actually VERY close to where I had at one point contemplated having one of the "fake" coordinates for my String Figure cache. I had like... 30 someodd possible spots, and this one just ended up not being copied and pasted ToungeOut.

Anyhoo...

Took: Nothing
Left: Logbook entry and chainmail ball
