My hagstone

You literally peer through its eye

A dark grey rough stone with a hole worn through it, a hagstone, very strongly resembling a face, with the hole appearing exactly where the eye would be, held in front of a green forest canopy.
Oh my goodness, this hagstone was an incredible, magical find.

So, Abby and I were on a trip to Dronfield, England, a possible place to move to that's right beside Sheffield (the main goal, but easily travel-toable, or even walk-toable or cycleable from Dronfield), and I'd discovered several parks inside of which there was a shallow stream running through. A shallow stream with easily navigable, seemingly common ways of getting down to it! And it was like 28°, I was wearing sandals, and my feet were just SHOUTING to be in that water.

And aw yus (YouTube link), we followed a trail down to the stream, and sat down there for a few minutes, just... feeling the cool-

Ok, getting a bit distracted there, sorry, it felt incredible, anyways. The hagstone! So after relaxing for a minute, of course, like any goblin-type person, I set about looking at the rocks in the water, seeing if there were any "cool ones" poking around. Found a few actually, featured in this video (also YouTube)! So anyways, me being me, I was talking to the Spirits of the forest there, and talking to them about hoping to find a hagstone! There were a few near candidates (see that last video), and I was mentioning to the Spirits that I was looking for something a bit "scraggly", a bit rough. Like, there's smooth, elegant hagstones, but I wanted something a bit more "haggish", something that when you saw it you'd say "wow, that is a hag's hagstone right there". See Sacred Hags Oracle, scraggly is kinda my aesthetic, bringing scraggly to the side of good.

So the Spirits brought me to the other side of the entrance incline, a few steps downstream, and guided me directly to this, this... absolutely incredible hagstone! This looks like a face, EXACTLY like a primape's face (primate?), and even with a turtle face coming out from the side, my Spirit Guide! And it's scraggly, it's got a fairly smooth, but fairly rough shape, it has a LITERAL FACE, and to look through it, you LITERALLY LOOK THROUGH THE EYE OF ITS FACE! The back is inexplicably smooth, making it ideal for holding against your face when peering through the primape's eye. It's absolutely incredible. The face is rough, haggish, and has an indent above the eyes right where your third eye is located, it's beyond incredible! It's even chewing on a tiny stone, which appears unattached and just wedged in the mouth, and I will be leaving it there until such time it falls out on its own, and the ape spits out its chewing pebble. Very haggish ^_^

Added note, I've been speaking with the Spirits of the forest from afar here (from home, about a 2 hour trip), and They have been helping me type this up. Thank You so much Spirits, this gift is incredible, SO much incredible! Thank You so much again :D :D :D :D

It is said that when you peer through a hagstone, you can see into the Feywild, so hopefully you can see something through that third picture.

Such a magical gift, thank You again ^_^
A somewhat rough, dark grey stone held in front a tree canopy in the background, resembling a primate's face, with the hole through the stone appearing exactly where the ape's right eye would be located. The left side of the face, or to the right from your perspective, the face is worn away and a turtle head with its mouth open is coming from the side, seemingly from behind the ape due to it being located further back, and the cupped mouth of the ape is gripping a pointy stone, pointed downwards to also appear as a tooth. Indents in the stone make up the turtle's eye, and another one appears right where your third eye would be located, above and between the two eyes.
The back of the hagstone, with the opening being angled to the right, appearing as though a brow to further resemble an eye opening. It's slightly rough here and there, but has a mostly smooth surface. The camera's focus changed to that of the canopy behind it, so that you can see clearly the leaves, and a white flower through the eye of the hagstone.
