This cache is the second in a series of “Remember” caches, dedicated to a few of the thousands of Canadian Servicemen who have given their all to defend our way of life. Remember #19 is situated in a residential park and camoed to its environment. The Fleets in, boys! Time to get caching. Bring your own writing stick! A FTF certificate is there for the finding!

Within the cache is information on one serviceman. You may want to record this information because the “Remember” series has one factor that ties them all together and it will help you find the last of the series which will be a puzzle cache. Information from each of the caches will be required to find this last one or, if you figure out the factor that ties them together, you will be able to “fast forward” to the last cache.

Once again, I'm quite glad to have gotten here sometime after someone else. Footprints to follow in the snow are good for two main reasons. Firstly... you know in general where to go (since my sense of direction tends to well... suck ToungeOut). Secondly... the snow is packed down somewhat, so you might not sink into the deep, deep cold.

Emphasis on might. Today was not as lucky a day as anticipated. Ended up stepping slightly off of the previous footprints (which were like... 95% covered in snow, so I could barely see them anyway) and sinking down anyway. Luckly, not much snow got into my shoes. I was able to pull straight out and keep going on the pseudo-path.

Upon arriving at ground zero, I began to look around for what might contain a cache. I almost immediately noticed something that looked appropriate for the "remember" series of caches (ie: awesome hide idea, hidden-in-plain-sight type thing). Poked around at it a bit, and when nothing would "come off" or open, I looked around in general a bit more to see if there was anything else.

Seeing nothing else appropriate, I went back to my first hunch and tried a little harder. Indeed, things did open, and a cache was found. Awesome stuff man. No clue if any part of that is actually real and you attached the cache hiding spot to the side of it, or if the entire thing is the cache... but awesome nonetheless. Very nice blending in ability Smile.

Second bonus... it was able to easily hold a full-sized chainmail ball! Also, I noticed that there's a $1 Tim Hortons certificate in there, but didn't have anything to trade with me (I don't consider the chainmail balls trading items with me. That's a signature item I put in extra regardless), so no coffee for me today ToungeOut. Thanks for yet another awesome cache. Truly, the "remember" series should be shown to all new cachers to show them what the meaning of urban camo TRULY means BigSmile.

Took: Nothing
Left: Logbook entry and chainmail ball
