How in the blue monkey hell did I manage to miss this one the first time around? Went here this time, and BAM, found it just about instantly. Like seriously... I could have SWORN I ran my hands over every square inch of that place and didn't feel a thing.

Well... I think that last visit's DNF can be chalked up to the frigid icy cold that I was feeling at the time. Well, technically it was still cold, snowy, and windy today too... but lesser so... and I was still warm from the car being able to park at least a little bit closer this time.

I don't know what it is... it's absolutely perfect weather for geocaching on days that I work at hours making it impossible to geocache, and on the day I have off, it's miserable outside. Ahh, Mother Nature... it's confirmed time and again that you hate me .

EDIT: Oh, but just remembered... if someone can come up with a way to waterproof the cache, that'd be quite heavily needed. It was 1/4 full of water when I got to it. The ziplock bags kept everything MOSTLY dry, and I dumped out the water that was there, but I expect after another rain or so, the same problem will come up.

Might be that my GPS was acting weird or something, but I couldn't find even the slightest hint of this cache, or where it might have been hiding. Not sure if it's magnetic or not, but from where the coordinates were pointing me, it either had to be, or otherwise I'd have to be swimming. I spent about 10 minutes in the icy wind looking around and finding nothing. Although, I did notice that some punk tossed one of the floatation devices into the river and tied the rope to the bridge. Not sure if it was like... attached to that floating or something, but my hands were too cold to be able to pull it up properly. A few more minutes of wandering back and forth over the bridge, and I called it a day for this one. I'll be back another time yet. It's supposed to be easy, so odds are I was just completely off or something.
