Cheap special FX go!
The main gag here, is that I was parodying how Kabs shows up for the first time in the main Zebeth comic. However, the reasoning behind that, was the fact that I couldn't come up with a decent way for the character to appear. Materializing just didn't sound right, fading in looked wierd, and while I eventually went with "poofing" in the end I still wanting to make fun of how cheesy Kabutroid's original entrance into the comic was.
