The caches that almost were

Builds in progress that were abandoned for various reasons

A scattering of treasures from inside of a geocache.
The first of the lost caches, which was unnamed and unplaced, but the idea had appeared in my mind. It had potential perhaps, if made from something that would survive the outdoor weather better, or could be placed inside on your own private property that you allow geocachers to visit. A cool idea, an unexpected find, hopefully someone else or myself in the future can make this happen. The dark brown glossy gourd, mostly covered in googly eyes.
The second of the almost caches. It was to be a simple yet large cache hidden deeeeep in forest territory, down gravel roads down other gravel roads, down a road that was more rubble than gravel, and into the trees therefrom. But alas, the changes of time caused my visits to slow more and more, to the point that maintaining it was no longer feasible. A deep in the forest cache for another time and place. A metal canister with the official geocache sticker on the side.
