This cache will require quite a bit of stealth, a camera and feigning appreciation for the view may help. The cache is a cammoed lock-n-lock, and not much challenge for a seasoned cacher, but finding without attracting attention may be difficult.

Third cache of the day! Given this cache was quite close to the previous one (CRM-008), it was quite a quick drive from there to this one. And as an added bonus, I go to drive up a somewhat big hill .

Note: I'm easily amused .

That said, another thing about me is that I'm not too easily impressed. The scenic view from THIS cache however (as implied by the cache name and description) was quite amazing. Whoever lives in that big house around the bend there has an absolutely gorgeous view from their front windows. After snapping a few pictures (which I'll attach to this log shortly after posting), I set off to go find me some geocache. It's probably for the best that I wasn't spotted, as I for some reason thought that this cache was actually owned by the person living there. As the description doesn't indicate as such, I'm guessing this isn't on this actual property then. However, with my wife staying in the car, it may have given the deception that we were just sitting there for a minute admiring the view.

Nonetheless, it actually took me a bit of hunting around to find the geocache. I ended up circling around here and there attempting to locate it, and only after several minutes did I stumble upon it. I'm actually very surprised I didn't spot it sooner, since the second I glanced in the direction of the cache's hiding spot, I knew immediately it had to be there.

Just another one of those situations in which your eyes just happen to pass over that which it's trying to find.

And what do I find inside of said geocache? Quite possibly one of the awesomest TB's I've seen yet. It was a big, giant dinosaur, that squeaks when you squeeze it .

So after poking around the cache contents a little bit more, I kept the Dino TB to travel with me, and left in its place a smaller, more cache-size-appropriate TB... Aggie Bug. Clamping the cache shut and getting into its hiding spot again, and off to the car I went. Another minute of admiring the view, and I grudgingly turned the car around and headed back from whence I came.

Although, on that note there appeared to have been tire tracks heading down into the valley. Either someone really knows that area well, or there's some off-road vehicle action happening in the area. Then again, given this is in 'Riding Mountain National Park', it's probably the latter.

Speaking of which... where IS this so-called "Mountain" anyway? Is there anything in the national park that actually qualifies as a 'mountain', or are these all just really big hills?

But anyway... thanks for the awesome view. Probably one of my favourite cache-related views of the camping trip .
