Visit the User's Web Page link at the top of the cache lisiting to obtain further details regarding the Conquista Del Mundo Challenge. Venezuela declared its independence from Spain (July 5, 1811), beginning its wars with that country. Spanish forces led by General Juan Monteverde defeated the Venezuelan revolutionary army, led by Francisco Miranda, which surrendered at La Victoria (July 12, 1812), effectively ending the first phase of the revolutionary war; Simon Bolivar and other revolutionary leaders fled abroad. Returing to Venezuela, Simon Bolivar's forces defeated Juan Monteverde's Spanish army in a series of battles, taking Caracas (August 6, 1813) and besieging Monteverde at Puerto Cabello (September 1813). Heavily reinforced Spainish forces in Venezuela lost a series of battles to Simon Bolivar's forces but decisively defeated Bolivar at La Puerta (June 15, 1814), took Caracus (July 16, 1814), and again defeated his army at Aragua (August 18, 1814), at a cost of 2,000 Spanish casualties of 10,000 engaged and most of the 3,000 in the rebel army. Bolivar then fled into exile. With war threatening once again, who will emerge victorius? The cache container is a typical micro container (pill canister). When looking for caches in the area, I figured "Eh, I already got one of the Conquista Del Mundo's for the area... might as well tackle another one. My luck seems to holding out for the moment." And hold out it did. Sure, it may have taken me about 15 minutes to attempt to locate this fella, but in the end, I found it. Was starting to lose hope too, until a lucky offhand thought led me to the cache. Well... technically my offhand thought was thinking something entirely different, but upon investigating said aformentioned thought which was offhand, I stumbled across the cache anyway.

So yeah... upon looking at this page, I'm seeing that only four caches are needed for this particular Conquista Del Mundo challange. Hmm... sounds like something I might be able to accomiplish in the relatively near future .
