Place these into 49 degrees 51.ABC and 097 degrees 07.DEF. The Cache is teenie - so bring a pen, pencil or sumthin.

This cache was created to add to the number of QUALITY caches hidden in Manitoba. It is an official cache in the MBGA Cache Splash event.

Found it 7/8/2007 by Kabuthunk
I was kinda worried when I figured I had solved the puzzle, as the coords were a touch further from the initial point than I had figured they'd be. However, tossing said coordinates into Google maps made me feel a bit better about my math-solving skills. I however had to leave the finding for several days from when I solved the puzzle however.

But... today I was able to go after it. Went with my fiancee and a friend, and went on a generic cacheing run around the area. (I thought that) I had solved lots of the nearby puzzle caches near me, and today I was aiming to get them out of my Dani Radius. Several of those caches remain in the radius however, due to various puzzle-solving inadequacies. This was not one of those however ToungeOut.

So after a quick run out to the cache (and very close parking), we were able to quickly retrieve it. It wasn't in the first place we poked around at however, but came out victorious regardless Smile.

I'm a tad worried about the cache container however. I get the feeling it's not going to be entirely waterproof, especially if subjected to a Winnipeg winter. The pages were slightly damp, but the ziplock bag seemed to be completely airtight... so the slight dampness may have been from either when it was placed, or if rain dripped on it while someone was signing it or something.

But in general, glad to see a math puzzle that I was actually able to solve on my own ToungeOut.

Took: Nothing
Left: Logbook entry and micromail ball
