Frostbite is the medical condition whereby damage is caused to skin and other tissues due to extreme cold. At or below -15 C (5 F), blood vessels close to the skin start to narrow (constrict). This helps to preserve core body temperature. Frostbite is most likely to happen in body parts farthest from the heart, such as fingers and toes. The early stages of frostbite are sometimes called "frostnip".

Found it 2/18/2007 by Kabuthunk
Was determined to go geocaching this weekend, one way or another. Turns out I was sick on Saturday... so today I felt slightly better. Good enough for me ToungeOut

Today it was me and my friend Night-Red on the hunt. Followed the GPS's road directions up until Dalhousie Drive. The GPS suggested I go up past the Perimeter and do a U-turn, and I decided to pass knowing that other motorists may take a dislike to me parking on Pembina Hwy itself ToungeOut. Figured we'd go in towards the gas station and see how close we could get. We found the earlier-log-mentioned 'winter road', and was contemplating just stopping for a second to find the cache. Some people came to walk down said winter road, so we decided to park in a nearby actual parking spot and walk over (the whole like... 90 meters that it was ToungeOut). A relatively quick find, although the GPSr might have been having a bit of issues, as it kept pointing a little to the north. Found relatively quickly thereafter though. Hope the wind doesn't take that thing down though. Looks a little precarious.

Took: Nothing
Left: Logbook entry and micromail ball
