Once upon a time, there was a little old Polish lady who loved to cache. ![]() It became an obsession with her, and she would do anything to gain numbers and get those FTFs. Anything.... She even entertained thoughts of MURDER! When an over-zealous amphibian ![]() If a sneaky reptile ![]() God forbid if a certain cacher with a New York accent ![]() One night, after being the bridesmaid at 3 separate caches, our dubious heroine ran into another notorious night cacher ![]() and the local hero faction ![]() "Oui" replied local hero, but in his mind, he was preparing to rat on the old crone. Together with other members of his team, ![]() ![]() Was her death accidental or was she pushed - we'll never know for sure. On a quiet summer evening, her broken cackle can still be heard echoing through the hills. Poor little old Polish lady... because of an unsavory past, as well as the unseemly way that she met her demise, she was not deemed fit for burial with her ancestors... her grave is a solitary one... outside the cemetery fence. Take heed, cachers, that you don't meet the same fate as the little old Polish lady. ![]() You may pay your respects to her at her graveside. Lay a flower, shed a tear..... sign a log.

Second Birds Hill park cache of the day for me. Man... y'know, on a zoomed-out map of the park, it looks like there's a lot of caches that can easily be obtained.
For the record... none of them are very close to eachother . Decided (against my better judgement) to bike through the fairly rough field from JPII cache pretty much straight to this one. But hey, I discovered that there appears to be some kind of... scounts, or some other group's obstacle course in that field. Stuff to climb over, under, etc, etc. I was almost tempted to play around on some of it... but I didn't know if that'd be frowned upon, so I passed
.
When I got to the cache location, I came across Peter and Gloria (of whom I found a cache placed by them just prior to this one). I had already made the find, and they wandered in and we chatted for a bit. The logbook was signed by all, and we went our seperate ways. Oh, didn't come to mind at the time... but Peter/Gloria, if you want my personal TB number to "discover" me, just lemme know .
Cool location for the cache though, and even more creative way of hiding it. I likes, I likes .
Took: Nothing
Left: Logbook entry and chainmail ball
