The $25,000 cache has been disabled Slow Joe and his brother Clint have held up a nearby bank and have stolen $25,000. The 1st stage of the cache is located near the scene of the crime where the dim-witted robbers tried to make their get a way. All the citizens of Beanland, including the Sheriff, are not very happy and need your help. The Sheriff has made YOU an honorary Deputy to help him find the stolen loot. While waiting for their get a way vehicle to arrive, the not too bright robbers called their friend, Mikey, to tell him of their new found fortune. You must search this location for the phone number. The phone number will have the form: ABC-DEFG After waiting half an hour for the get-a-way vehicle to arrive, the impatient theives decided to walk to their hide out. Along the way they dropped more evidence. This evidence (2nd stage) can be found at: N49� CD.0GE W09E� 06.6BE You must search this location for the evidence and then combine it with evidence found at The Hide Out. Once you combine the evidence found at each of these two locations, it will lead you to the $25,000 Cache. This cache contains a log book, small tradable items and a first to find certificate.

Decided to go after this one pretty much immediately after tackling "The Hide Out". In retrospect... walking from where we parked to take on the aformentioned "Hide Out", odds are it would have been a drier walk. It looks like it was a bit higher ground from that side. Can't guarantee anything, but for anyone going after this cache in the near future... you may want to try to use the same sorta area for parking you most likely used for the Hide Out for this one. Until the water goes down, then it's free game .

In either case... we decided to park as close as possible. Attempted to walk from one direction first and found that there was at least 2 or so inches of water with every step. I attempted to use my "stomp down a stepping stone path in the snow" method, but it was WAY too slow, and it looked a little bit higher up when accessed off to the side a bit. Hence... that's where I headed.

At which point... I ran across another geocacher, who I remember correctly, said he was "Bozey". I'll find out shortly once they log this geocache . Technically, he found it first. I had actually attempted to walk in his footsteps, and it worked relatively good. Well... until I was on my way back.

BUT... I had found the cache! Nice area to put a cache, too. I could see me playing here as a kid, but then again... I grew up in the country .

On the way BACK to the car however... one of my footsteps sunk down, and I was up to my ankle in water. And THEN, I remembered that I forgot a chainmail ball, so I needed to head back again (I was only 1/4 the way back to the car). I decided "screw it, my feet are already wet", and just ran back. Yep... if any part of my socks had been dry before, they sure as hell weren't now . One chainmail ball later, and I just ran back to the cache, taking the original wet path anyway. Yep. Them's some wet feet.

Mental note for anyone coming by in the near future: Do not take the path that I did. I guarantee it is very, very wet if you have only shoes . Nice cache though. AND, I remembered to get the other part of the puzzle to tackle the $25000 cache vaguely nearby. However... that will wait for another day. Not because my feet were wet. It probably would have made it easier, because then I wouldn't have cared about stepping in puddles. But no... my friend "Cringin" who was with me needed to get back to get started cooking supper... so we needed to hit Safeway quickly. At least I didn't make a wet path behind me in there... it all stayed in my shoes .
