Children should be supervised closely as there is an active roadway nearby with a blind corner. Parking is nearby. This site is a microcache consisting of 35mm film canister (the grey Altoids container provided courtesy of Peter and Gloria rusted closed). Cache contains only a log book. Bring your own writing stick. Site is best accessed from above rather than below. Ensure that No trespassing signs beyond barriers are observed. Climbing the structure is not required nor recommended. The placement of the cache requires good contact between the container and its resting place. Make sure the contacts are clean and dry before returning.

Quite the intriguing location. Yeah, I was definitely looking in the wrong area last time. I mean... I was looking in the right "way", but not "far enough", so to speak. Someone who's found this cache before might have a vague chance of understanding what I mean .

So yeah... this time around, not only did I find closer parking (on the closest residential street, just to the East of the cache), but I quite quickly located the cache visually. Of course, previous logs for this cache (mainly somewhere in the first 5 logs entered or so) helped me out quite a bit in what... umm... direction and method should be taken to find the cache. So the direction was what got me the visual confirmation. The method took me an attempt or two to kinda find the right place to grab at the cache. But... all was victorious.

Although, looks like we're getting about halfway down the last page of the log-sheet-roll thing. Methinks that after about... eh... 5 or 6 more cachers (unless one writes something long down), a new logsheet will be needed. But MAN this cache has been here for a while. A lotta history on that little rolled up paper. And another thing about this cache, it brings up a good question. Why IS that bridge over the river still? I mean... it obviously used to be for a train, but now? They could at LEAST convert it into a walking path. *sigh* this city.

Didn't get lucky on this one. Wandered around the area for about 1/2 an hour, poking my hand into anywhere it would fit, feeling anywhere I could feel, looking high, low, and everything inbetween. No clue where it could be hiding, but methinks I'll be having to come back for this one.

At least there's other caches nearby that I still have yet to do, so this one will be tackled again, rest assured. Might read over the previous logs and see if I can't find anything that helps me out, but regardless, I shall return.
