As usual, a reservation has been made for us (though at this time, they know nothng about the MBGA as the guy could hardly hear me as it was). And another awesome pub nite has come to a close (for me, anyway. I'm guessing there's probably still a number of cachers there since it's only 11:00pm). I'd have likely stayed longer, except that I've had a headache for most of the day. It was all fine and good when I was there, except when the live band started playing. Their music volume was at least 5x that of the regular background music... so that was pulsing my skull a little bit more than I could handle at the time .

Otherwise though, I got to meet up with all ye olde geocachers again, if not directly than just verbally. The highlights of the night have got to be topped by the phonecall out of the blue that I received. Dang... can't remember who's cellphone it was at this particular moment, but in either case, I was sitting there chilling in general when said person I can't remember the name of hands me a cellphone saying "It's for you."

Well NOW I'm curious. I'm running through my mind who in the world could POSSIBLY know that a) I'm at a geocache gathering, b) know who's there, c) have their phone number, and d) need to contact me. Upon being given the phone, I perplexed a little further as to who I was speaking with. When asking who it was (since at that moment, I was still going under the train of thought that it was someone who I've known outside geocaching), I got the response back of having to try to guess who it is.

And then it clicked... *Butterfly*. Guess I did, and correct I did answer . We've somehow managed to miss meeting eachother for a good chat and whatnot on multiple occasions now. Sooner or later... if not by the sheer law of averages, we will have to meet up sometime .

Another highlight was Peter being kind enough to give me one of the MBGA sew-on badges (for my geocaching bag) on credit until the next time we meet. The stupid bank machine at the pub was coughing up the error "Could not contact host" or something like that when I tried to use it. Thanks man! Remind me to pay you back when we meet next. Hopefully by that time, said patch will be sewn onto my caching bag .

Otherwise... a good night all around. Got to play with some toy dinosaurs, chat with friends, receive mystery calls, and after leaving I took a nice walk to check on my String Figure cache, since I had received an email a bit ago from someone worried that it might be gone. For the record, it's not .

Ahh... good times, good times .

Ok, THIS time, I'm going to make it here. Various circumstances or prior appointments have hindered me from making it to most other caching events, but back over beside us, I WILL make my way there, one way or the other .
