The cache is a short rectangular lock 'n lock container. The original 30-cal ammo can was muggled, so please be sure to hide the cache well after you find it.

It is hidden not far off a hiking/biking trail. There is a quality FTF prize in this cache that would be of interest to the geocoin collectors out there. Congrats to ertyu for retrieving the FTF prize of a new, unactivated Belgian geocoin.

Belgium is a small country (approximately the size of Maryland) with a population of 10 million. It has been a constitutional monarchy since 1830. There are three languages (Dutch, French and German). However, English is widely spoken. The three regions (Flanders, Wallonia and Brussels) have self-government in many spheres. Belgium has retained its old-world charm in the preservation of its ancient buildings and historical traditions.

Belgium is famous for its delicious pommes frites (did you know french fries were not french, they're belgian?), its incomparable beer, and its marvelous chocolate!

Hurrah! This morning was my morning o' "take care of some of the caches I DNF'd". And it looks like it was a success! Must have spent about 20 minutes poking around amongst leaves there though. How in the world can so many leaves pile up against a single stand of trees?!? After rustling around for a bit, my arm was able to sink nearly a foot deep into sheer leaf! The leaves... THE LEAVES!
Anyway... much hunting about later, I finally came across cache. Ahh, how sweet it was. Gotta love the feeling of finding after a previous DNF. Although, I REALLY wish I hadn't seen the stray pencil last time. That had completely shot my hopes of finding the cache last time. Turns out I wasn't even too far away from it. If I'da stayed like... 5 minutes longer the first time around, I probably would have gotten it. Ah well... alls well that ends well. Got me some Travelbug from here too that I'll migrate onwards.

On a vaguely-related-to-this-cache note... there are some AWESOME looking bike trails leading up to it. I have SO got to haul my bike down here sometime and give 'em a try. Check the pic of the start of one of the trails.

Took: Lion King Travelbug
Left: Logbook entry and chainmail ball (see profile)

Didn't find it 27/09/2006 By Kabutroid
Poked around for a while, but couldn't find a thing. Apparently, it's either hidden better than expected, or another fate has befallen it. My heart kinda sank though shortly after I got there. Was poking around with my stick through the leaves to see if I could find anything. Started poking around an unnatural pile of sticks, when I spotted a lone pencil by itself on the ground. Stayed looking around for this guy for another 10 minutes, both at the bushy-tree and the less-bushy-tree nearby, couldn't find a thing Frown. Ended up calling it quits for this one for the day, as finding the pencil but no cache kinda sank my hopes. Distinct possibility that the pencil was from one of the other times the cache was trashed, but I had no way of knowing. Methinks I'll wait for someone else to find this one again (or come to a conclusion about it in some form or another) before I take another stab at it.
