Practically a drive-up cache at the entrance to Red Rock Bible Camp road with parking available close by. Red Rock Lake has been a home away from home for our whole family for many years! Red Rock Bible Camp - what memories it brings back - family camps, all five of our kids going to camp, most of them worked here as counsellors and/or swimming instructors, and two sons met their future wives here. What a wonderful place for kids to adventure, met new friends and learn about God! You might want to drive up to the camp and check it out for your family!!!
Camoed container wtih FTF, Perkin's $5 FTF, logbook, pencils, kerchief, Red Rock pen, crazy 8 cards, playdough, bubble set, carbiner, etc. Add cache to watch list

09/09/2007 By Kabutroid On the way home from a family camping trip at Big Whiteshell, I decided to stop for a few geocaches on the way home. Since the group I was with yesterday didn't make it this far last time ("The Cliffs" kinda took the fight out of us for more geocaching that day ), I decided to tackle these two quite-close-together caches back to back. Stopped the car on the side of the road (wasn't sure how close the parking lot would be to the caches), and headed to the caches.
A quick scramble up the rocky terrain and I was ready to hunt. Since it was both Sunday, September, and in the afternoon... it was surprisingly quiet. I don't think even a single car drove by while I was hunting for the cache. At first, I thought it would be needle-in-a-haystack type of situation, but after just standing there for a bit and looking around, I narrowed down to about three places where the cache could possibly be hidden. My first option turned out to be the correct one, and I signed up the logbook.
Thanks for the nice view, and a fun geocache on the way home from an excellent camping trip .
Took: Nothing Left: Logbook entry and chainmail ball
