1 Logs: Found it 1

Found it 25/08/2009 By Kabutroid
Second cache of the day, and second cache placed by PMD that I've found during this vacation. Of course, this wasn't exactly a typical "find" though. Today was yet another day of what's turning out to be an excellent vacation, filled with hot springs, waterfalls, lakes, rivers, and geocaching throughout. Hanging with my brother, PurpleMonkeyDishwasher, today he had wanted to check on one of his caches that seemed to have gone missing. After tackling a nearby cache on the way, we slowly worked our way towards the coordinates of this cache.

Several moments after having reached the coordinates, the "hiding method" from where the previous cache was located, indeed devoid of the cache container. After PMD described what the previous cache container had looked like, I wasn't too surprised it had gone missing. No matter how camouflaged, in that particular location it seemed to me to be specifically findable. Then again, with a difficulty of 1/1, it can't exactly be THAT hard to locate ToungeOut. So, seeing as that PMD had a replacement cache with him in case it actually was missing, we set out to find a suitable place to place it. He didn't specifically want it to be located in the same place, so we scoured the area, looking for the most suitable spot. Since our significant others were to meet us at the location (and in fact beat us there, since we spent a lot of time at the nearby Genie in a Bottle reading its logbook), they were also attempting to assist us in finding a less bystander-spottable location. Actually, a good several minutes were spent on this, so with four people looking for a good location, hopefully the end result turned out decently ToungeOut.

In the end, I found a good location for where the cache should go (so you can put the blame on me if you don't like it... unless of course it's misplaced ToungeOut), and the cache was set in place. For both having helped PMD confirm the other cache missing, and having found the final spot where the new cache container would be placed, he allowed me to log it as a find. WOOH, THANKS MAN BigSmile! Thus, I christened the logbook with my name and the date, and as well threw in one of my signature chainmail balls specifically made for nano caches. In fact, this cache got the added bonus of receiving a limited-edition one, made from titanium rings Smile.

So with that mission accomplished, we prepared to head out. Gathering up our significant others, we headed out to our next destination, glad to have made the cache findable again Smile. Thanks for the view though, and glad I could help with the replacement Smile.

Took: Nothing
