Blumenort's first cache. Parking will be uncomfortable. Short walk from a nearby store along a highway.
Cache n' Dash tribute to where we lived during our honeymoon years. This village was settled in part by Joker 1's great-great grandparents in 1874. We lived here from 1989-1991 but the place where our little home stood on a well-treed farmyard was bull-dozed last year and subdivided into the newest development near the school. A large micro with a pencil, logsheets, TB, a couple of little items to swap.

Took my mom to visit this one, since our family is just kinda introducing her to geocaching. She's SO liking the activity, I figured I had to show her the cache that she's passed SO many hundreds of times on the way to Steinbach. She was really amused and really liked a little mini padlock that was there. I left two quarters in it's stead though Frown. Sorry about the trade-down, but that's all I had on me for any kind of money or toys. So it was either that, or leave my credit card ToungeOut. It's still packed with lots of little goodies though, so many more a person can find Bluminort's first (and so far only) cache :}
Took: Little mini lock
Left: Two quarters (sorry again... wish I had more :{ ).

Somewhat easy to find this one. At least there was a nice sitting area right basically beside there to sort out the cache and sign the log. Really full cache container though. Ended up taking the playdoh to make room, and left a compass (from a cache earlier in the day... thought it might be useful but decided on the way to this one that I'd pick up a more "hold in any position" type of spherical compass sometime. It was towards the evening, so there wasn't too much traffic to annoy us. I think maybe a single car passed that might have seen me.
Took: Playdoh
Left: Compass and chainmail ball (see profile)
