Winter Friendly

This traditional cache is hidden over Baldry Creek in Richmond West. This cache was originally part of the Scrabble game series.

About This Cache

This winter friendly cache is tucked away out of sight, but probing fingers will be able to retrieve it.

Somewhere beneath your feet is Baldry Creek. Baldry Creek disappears underground behind the Smitty's Family Restaurant, and reappears again across Pembina Highway behind the Zellers parking lot where it briefly becomes the "Lake Baylor" retention pond before diving under the Perimeter and draining into the Red River. I don't know the exact history, but I expect Baldry Creek was just in the wrong place at the wrong time years ago when Fort Richmond was a new development.

When I got near to this one, I realized that there can pretty much only be one place this could have been. Luckly, it was relatively quiet there today. As well, one can kinda sit nearby and look semi-casual while poking around. Didn't take too long, as the second I sat down, I spotted it in the corner of my eye. A quick grab later, and I was perusing the contents. Wind almost blew some of the stuff away though. Good thing I grabbed quickly, followed by kinda stuffing it under the edge of my trenchcoat.
In retrospect, what probably drew more attention (if any was drawn) was the guy wearing all black and a trenchcoat sitting in front of a strip mall, looking towards the storefronts, and writing something down in a notepad ToungeOut.
Ah well... I didn't see anyone, so by that logic, noone saw me ToungeOut.
Took: Nothing
Left: Logbook entry and chainmail ball (see profile)
