The Cache is my first out of province. I placed this one while on my "Geocaching Whirlwind to Winnipeg" tour in 2002. Urban terrain with no difficulty. I highly recommend that you dismount and approach the location on foot, due to heavy traffic.
To log this cache, look around the area. A bit of plaque-reading will tell you all you need to know. To log this cache, e-mail me the name and role of what is supposed to be on the stick.

Y'know, I've driven by this 'stick' probably dozens of times over the years, and never really stopped to take a look at what the stick contains (as it appears to be fully 'there', so to speak). On the several other occasions in which I was planning to tackle this virtual, the parking lot right beside had always been full, or I missed the turn-off and was too low on time to turn around, etc, etc. Dozens of different reasons.

Today however I was able to stop by on this slushy morning after having tackled a nearby cache. Not that there was much to "tackle", really ToungeOut.

Well... I dunno... I DO have this insatiable urge to climb the structure in question ToungeOut. Probably wouldn't be in my best interests though, especially since the police happened to have driven by as I was heading back towards my car.

In either case... will post this as a note for now until I get the go-ahead from Tommi Potx to count it as a find. Then again, I took pictures of the plaques (not to be posted here, as that would kinda... y'know... defeat the purpose and such), so any information I'm missing should be easy to fill in.

In either case... thanks for actually getting me to stop by here and soak in the information and sight close-up. Definitely a stop everyone in Winnipeg should make at least once Smile.

Took: Nothing (as much as I wanted to take the item on the stick... might be rather difficult to get into the apartment).
Left: Nothing (seeing as hurling a chainmail ball at the structure would be rather pointless ToungeOut).
