One for the bird watchers.
"Hidden" down a public footpath, is Anton Crescent Wetlands, a local nature reserve. It is closed to the public, but can be viewed from the footpath quite easily. There's lots of bird life to be seen, albeit at a distance.
More details on the reserve and on the wildlife that can be seen can be found by a quick web search, and Wikipedia also has a short entry on it.
And... it's just next to a supermarket if you need to do your shopping too. And a fast food restaurant if you want to reward yourself with a burger.

18/04/2023 By Kabutroid Oohhh, I come from the swamps of Canada, I HAD to find this one.
So, having finally gotten to England and finding my geocaching gear again, I set out on finding several geocaches to celebrate. I’d found one a little further south before doing some shopping, wandered around (sorry I like to write a book lol) that shopping area down there, and then decided to tackle these two as well today. One of them was called wetlands, I CAN’T pass that up!
And it did not disappoint, thank you so much for the cache! I’ve told people time and again, if you want to know where the cool sites are, you go geocaching. And once again this adage has paid off, and we find ourselves at the most beautiful of swamps, OOHHH if only they let you swim in it. But alas, in the middle of the cities such things are frowned upon lol. But what a beautiful view, I spent several minutes there just… taking it it. Actually recorded a song there, I post things online and such (just google search Kabutroid, you’ll find it).
So this was an incredible step into the country, coming from the swamps of Canada to find the swamps of England, I couldn’t be happier.
Thank you again, it took me a good several minutes to find the cache, but once I did I found me a comfortable seat nearby, signed up the logbook, dropped in a signature chainmaille ball (just a tiny one because of the size of the container opening lol), and replaced it as found.
A good day today, and from here I wandered over to the willows cache nearby, another introduction of ‘like Canada, like England’. Thank you again, it was a beautiful day today ^_^
