This was unfortunately the only cache I was able to find in Calgary. I was in the city visiting my brother, and was looking for things bike-toable.

Well, that didn't go as planned. I managed to snakebite my tire on the giant curbs you guys call slopes onto sidewalks, and that pretty much put an end to that.

So YEAH, Calgary. You coulda had a find one day earlier ToungeOut

But since that kinda put a crimp in my larger-area geocaching, I decided to still go after at least ONE geocache on my visit. Cue THIS guy. A nearby micro, yeah, I can go after that. And it was surprisingly nice out that day, too. I took a nice, leisurely walk around the area from where I was staying, and eventually ended up at ground zero.

It didn't take me much hunting around before I recalled the hint (because I'm weak, and looked early ToungeOut), and soon found my way a little bit closer to the eventual hiding spot. There was much hunting around the greenery, but that didn't yield anything. I was kinda hovering around the area for a good 5 minutes there. Eventually, my eye managed to catch a glimpse of what I needed to see, and soon, the cache was in hand.

Shoulda caught that one sooner... I've become a bit rusty. Kinda dropped off the geocaching map for a little while there... hopefully I can work my way back into it. Get my spotting-eyes trained up again.

Eh, they seem to have done decently this time around.
