This is a cache for my dear friend tuppergurl. She has convinced me to follow her on countless adventures, such as roller derby, zombie killing, and caching like a pirate. She was my personal photographer for my Miss December photo shoot for cacher of the month and I was hers for her 1,000th cache milestone where she became the superhero tuppergurl!
We have spent many hours together Geocaching and have taken many pictures while caching and have had many memorable experiences as our logs and pictures go to show.
“We didn't have the ladder out of the trunk 30 seconds, when security stopped by to see what we were doing. I explained ourselves while laughing so hard I was almost crying, and they let us be (I truly believe they were sure we were crazy). “
“crackerjackie spotted it and we jumped for joy, hugged and did a little dance, which I am sure made the neighbors wonder what those crazy chicks were up to!”
“So it was a combination of me finding a big flat rock giving tuppergurl an extra 2 inches of height and her 5 inch metal purse hanger giving that extra reach along with me holding her steady so she didn't fall off of the rock.”
“I was listening to crackerjackie tell an interesting story and was paying more attention to the story than to my speed. I did pay attention; however, when I saw flashing lights in my rearview mirror.”
“We were standing there signing the log when a cop car drove past, pulled a Uie and parked beside us. He was laughing as he came over and said I got a call that some kids were breaking into the research park. “
“I was helping to search but refused to go feeling around in dark corners after crackerjackie came up with a pair of underpants. How the heck do you lose your underpants?”
“When crackerjackie wanted to go back to the car, I refused to give up and started the Catherine Zeta-Jones from Entrapment-type manoevres it took to push through the bush to ground zero (she cursed me all the way - she was pretty angry at me ).”
“Tuppergurl was about to put the cache back when she noticed the dealership parking lot cleaners getting too close. GASP! She threw the cache back at GZ! You'd swear she had a grenade instead of a cache in her hand!”
“Tuppergurl tried to prove to me what her height was by showing me her driver's license. I told her the lies on her drivers license aren't going to make her any taller.”
“Tuppergurl and I played like Sylvester getting to Tweety and we stacked up hat boxes and mannequin parts to get to the cache.”
“Tuppergurl and I arrive at this cache about 1:30am dressed in big jackets, wearing splash pants tucked into rubber boots. We get to GZ and just as I discover the cache, Tuppergurl looks up at the traffic stopped at the lights and says" Oh great, it's the cops. They are going to think we are hookers." I look at her and say" They are NOT going to think we are hookers. Look at us!" We kill ourselves laughing at the scene about to unfold...." Excuse me ladies, why are you standing here on the street corner dressed like that?", "But officer, they told us to make sure we bring rubbers!" TFTC”
(Cache at a church) “Tuppergurl was putting the cache back together after we signed the log when the street light on the corner went off again. Something must be funny with the electric eye as I noticed on other visits here that it turns off and on constantly. Anyway, when the light went out Tuppergurl took the Lord's name in vain! We looked at each other with big eyes and and I backed away from her quickly to avoid the impending lightning bolt that was about strike! When I was at a seemingly safe distance I tossed the cache lid at her.”
“We start walking in the snow and all of a sudden Tuppergurl DISAPPEARED RIGHT BEFORE MY EYES! I looked down and there she was. She had unwittingly stepped into a deep ditch full of water that was hidden by the snow. She filled up both brand new rubber boots!”
“We have created a new olympic sport - tandem synchronized sliding! Lol! Replaced the cache and did some more sliding.”
“I don't know why crackerjackie is upset,,, We broke a white law and broke into the museum, got some nice photo ops (I am sure she will post the photos) and got to climb a fence. We negotiated through barbed wire and got some exercise on the way back to the car.”
“The snow!!!! I cannot believe the amount of digging we had to do to get it. We were so excited when I put my hand on it and pulled it out and proclaimed "NO CACHE GOES UNFOUND TONIGHT!" It had to be almost 5 AM by this point and we were feeling pretty punchy by then.”
“crackerjackie and I had so much fun here! We stayed for about 45 minutes dancing and singing and enjoying the lights.”
“We certainly faired much better than the snowman lawn ornament I found mangled on the way back to the car. I guess this place is secluded enough to dump a body. Thanks for making me a witness.”
“We rooted around on our hands and knees for about 45 minutes. Crackerjackie was ready to leave and being as stubborn as I am, I crawled around for a few more minutes and happened to locate the cache”
“We passed a playground on the way back and I wondered what the heck the big blue bowls on stands were. Well we had to try them out and boy were they fun, so we had to take pictures. I was very dizzy after, but we sure had a good time.”

Cache is a cammo'ed container full of tupperware miniatures. (She didn't even ask why I wanted so many! haha!)
Depending on the muggle situation, I may have to downsize this cache at some point to keep it safe. So come one, come all and get your mini tupperware!!! Add cache to watch list

1 Logs: 1
28/10/2012 By Kabutroid And it has been yet another month approximately since my last find. MAN, I’ve been slacking WAY too much this summer. Although in my defense, the new Pokemon game came out on Oct. 7th... and for those familiar with the etymology of my name, the fact that the first half of my username on here came from a Pokemon (Kabutops to be specific again) would be indicative of my love for this series. So needless to say, I’ve barely left the apartment since the 7th, except for work and other critical functions.
However, I’ve managed to wean myself off of it long enough to at least complete my ‘at least one cache found per calendar month since I’ve started caching’ streak. Although hopefully we at least get a proper amount of snow this year, so that I might be able to go out snowshoeing more than like... twice. Not that I’m bitter about last year or anything. Not like the winters ever since I bought those snowshoes have had mediocre levels or snow or anything .
But I digress. With a double-goal of both fulfilling the aforementioned streak, as well as needing to drop off a travelbug that I’ve been carrying around WAY too long now, I set out to find a geocache that this TB could not only fit in, but was relatively close, and would probably not give me many problems when hunting for it. Time was unfortunately not on my side today, since this was also ‘cleanup day’ around the apartment, so I was planning to head out for a cache after throwing laundry into the dryer and being back (ideally) before it was done.
Thus, with a load of clothing being gently tumbled in a delicious warmth, I headed out into the cold to find me a geocache. One quick driver later, and I found myself vaguely near the coordinates. And by ‘vaguely near’, I mean ‘beside the park area as a whole’. Turns out I still had about 120 meters to walk before I actually got to ground zero. Not feeling like moving the car, and having an urge to get some fresh air and exercise, I hoofed it down the sidewalk, and eventually down the back streets that make up the residential zone around there. I eventually found myself on Dunkirk. A few more steps down the sidewalk, and I was able to enter the hiding vicinity and begin my hunt. Although I’ve gotta say... this area seems familiar. Quite the popular geocache location it turns out .
After wandering around in there for a few moments, I eventually worked my way to within about 15 meters of ground zero. A little bit of glancing around and it seems as though the distinct lack of leaves on anything has simplified the hunting process for me. Upon seeing the cache container’s camouflage, it was only a matter of moments before I could work my way over there and get the container in hand. Gotta say... there is a whole ton of swag in here, so if there’s any family cachers that are looking for something to take their kids to with lots of tradables, this is a pretty good bet. Word of warning though, a number of them were kinda frozen to the bottom inside of the cache container, and I unfortunately lacked any means of removing them. But... with that found, I signed the logbook and dropped in a micromail ball (out of regular size chainmail balls, although I’ve just gotten a whole ton more rings for them, so more ‘normal’ ones should be available for any future caching). Replacing the cache as found, I took a quick swing by the nearby “Tuppergurl is an evil gurl”, and after DNFing that (see the log specific to that cache for details), I called it quits for the day.
Thanks for the cache! I’ve always liked this location... no clue why various caches have come and gone from here. Hopefully this one will stick around longer .
