Cache is in a newly renovated sports park.
As the name inplies, everything in this cache is flat and round. Not a lot of room in it. Please make sure that cache container snaps shut. You might need your own writing stick. Stealth is a must!

I decided to attempt some geocaching after work (which seems as of late to be when I do most of my caching). After pondering a little bit one way or the other, I eventually decided to tackle this fella. It's quite new, and up until today was the closest unfound cache to where I live. Added bonus: it was almost directly on the way home Smile.

Hooking down Jubilee, I ended up passing the first turn the GPS told me to make... some loop-around under the bridge on the South side of the river. No worries, a quick trip down Fermor, and I was back on track. A few minutes later, and I found myself near the coordinates. Unfortunately, there didn't appear to be any parking immediately nearby, but more parking was but a few seconds away.

At first I was a bit worried that I wouldn't be able to get through the fence there, since the gate was locked... but I quickly learned that the gate appeared to be for vehicles, and the path to walk through was a few feet to the right. How in the world I missed that when I had driven up and needed to turn around, I'll never know ToungeOut.

A quick through the mini-gate (which seemed to have once been covered by an orange, plastic, temporary covering... not sure if that's actually supposed to be blocked off), and I almost immediately knew where the cache had to be hidden. A scant few seconds later, and I found I was correct Smile. With noone within sight, it was easy to make the grab and open the cache container.

The container seemed to have been a bit on the 'beaten' side however. It looks like at one point in the past, it was replaced into it's hiding spot a little too vigorously, and there was a deep dent in the bottom. A little bit of work with my thumb, and I had the container good as gold again.

Unfortunately, I lack anything specifically flat and round (I didn't even have any change with me), however I have an abundance of the round. If any cache screams out for a chainmail ball, this cache does. Well... the individual rings are flat, but coiled into a round ring... so that counts, right? Sure, why not! It fit easily into the cache, anyway.

However, as I had finished signing the logbook, a random pedestrian happened to be walking nearby on the other side of the fence. Just kinda keeping crouched there and poking around a bit more, he soon disappeared around the corner, and I could replace the cache once again. I fit it in a little bit more gently this time, so hopefully it won't suffer any denting damage, and off I went!

Thanks for the cache nearby to home. Glad to see a few more popping up in this area of town Smile.
