Ended up finding this geocache TWICE actually... although my forgetfulness has caused that to happen several times in the past as well. Y'know, for leaving chainmail balls in every single geocache, I still surprise myself by managing to forget to put them in every so often .

In either case... I was sitting at home today, basically preparing for a day of geocaching. I hadn't particularily planned on going after this cache, since it was a puzzle... but I decided to grab a bite to eat before leaving. Given there's like... 3 puzzle caches in my Dani radius, I decided to cull the herd a bit and looked into this particular puzzle. Seemed pretty easy and self-explanatory, so off I went, munching and researching. A scant few minutes later, and I had myself a set of coordinates to adjust on the GPS for this waypoint. Several button-pushes later, and I was off towards the car.

A quick drive, a quick parking, and a quick run-across-several=lates-of-traffic later and I was at the cache location. This one proved to put up quite the fight to be found. My GPS kept on jumping here and there (which continued to plague me throughout the day) and at first my hunting style was... well... simply the wrong style. After about 5 or 10 minutes, I adjusted said style and continued the hunt. Still it put up a fight, but out of the corner of my eye, I eventually emerged victorious over this cache.

Nice hide! Talk about one of those slap-your-head-when-you-see-it type of caches . For a while, I was getting worried that I had the coordinates wrong. I'm glad I kept up the hunt. I've gotta say... that's arguably one of the most unique geocache containers I've ever seen yet. Somehow, the container reminds me of a different cache that was near the U of M. Can't remember the name in the slightest, even when looking at previous finds of mine... but ah well. Just trust me, it reminds me of it .

Nonetheless, after the find I took off towards another cache vaguely nearby. Unfortunately, I had forgotten to drop a micromail ball into this one, so after finding the next one, I doubled back to the same parking spot, ran across several lanes of traffic again, and micromail balled the cache. Hah... and it thought it could escape my balls .

As an added bonus... this is my very first members-only cache ever !
