Decided to swing by for a cache hunt on the way home from my parent's place today. Swung by twice actually, but more on that later ToungeOut.

In either case... I'm heading home and decided to boot it up through Landmark to go after this geocache that's quite close to said town. That in itself quite amazed me. Another cache near Landmark that wasn't placed by myself? Intriguing... this is something that cannot be passed up.

So I drive up a quite familiar road, which has been taken countless times by our family to drive to St. Anne, as well as the strawberry-picking place down this road. Coming up to the coordinates, I discovered that this particular cache seems to quite close to a cafe I had never been in. Unfortunately, I had JUST finished eating dinner at my parent's place, otherwise I would have stopped in to see what types of snacks they had inside. Alas, my full stomach did not wish to participate ToungeOut. Hopping out of the car, I discover that the ditch has a healthy level of water in it, such that I didn't feel particularily confident in jumping over it. Hence, walk around to the driveway and back to the coordinates I did. It only too a few seconds to find the cache, so I quickly signed it up and put it away.

And then I went off to find another geocache (which ended up a DNF, but more on that on that cache's page). After searching for a bit, I realized that I hadn't left a chainmail ball inside of THIS cache after finding it Shock. Well, having never missed a cache with one of these yet, I wasn't about to let it get away ball-less. Driving back from Lorette, I stopped by here (it was dark by this point as well), I quickly jogged over to the cache, plunked in a chainmail ball, and was back on my way home again.

Thanks for the close-to-growing-up-home cache. I'll have to stop at that cafe sometime or another. I've driven by it countless times, but have yet to give it a try ToungeOut.

Took: Nothing
Left: Logbook entry and chainmail ball, after a while ToungeOut.
