I haven't done many splash caches as of yet... but as it currently stands, this one is by FAR the best-view, best-containered one I've seen. Seriously... I LOVED the cache container. I just wish I'd thought of it first ToungeOut.

I was actually here with my fiancee and geocat (just having been intitiated into geocaching today), but my fiancee decided to stay in the car with my cat (named Jack) since she was pretty much absorbed in a book that she had started to read when we first drove out to Birds Hill park.

I SO should have dragged her out with me. The view was spectacular! I loved going after this cache! Excellent hide, excellent spot... definitely worth the trip BigSmile.

It was strangely quiet today at Birds Hill though. For being May long weekend, I figured it'd be... y'know... packed. Not a soul was around when I went after this cache. Didn't even hear anyone playing off in the distance (unless sound just doesn't reach here good enough from the lake/pond thing). Was able to easily sign the logbook, and take my time putting it back and absorbing the location.

Many large thankseses for bringin' me out here. When I come here next (likely with my bike), I'll probably stop by this same spot for the view again anyway BigSmile.

Took: Nothing
Left: Logbook entry and chainmail ball
