The story of Snoopy. Snoopy showed up in our life in December of 2018, as mentioned in the additions to the family page, and all was well and good. He travelled in my pocket on occasion, and was an integral part in being present for the final comic of the main Zebeth storyline! That comic was posted in May 2019, and somewhere around January 2021, Snoopy was packed up and mailed to Abby during the move to England.
Upon finally getting to England... Snoopy was nowhere to be found! Was he in the crafting bin? Was he with the rock collection? Was he with the toys? Was his package lost??? Things needed to be shipped in categories, so everything was helter-skelter in boxes, and in the years of waiting, I couldn't recall where he had been packed. And then, in 2024, when the last of the cardboard boxes were opened and unpacked.... Snoopy was nowhere to be found :(
And so, at that moment, we set about searching for a new body for Snoopy's Spirit to inhabit, His soul floating about, needing a place to set Himself. We tried to find an identical statue online, but were unable to find a perfect duplicate, and so, we set about finding a suitable replacement. And lo and behold, we soon found our replacement statue for Snoopy. A little bit bigger, a little bit wider, it looks like Snoopy has grown up a little bit! And with much joy, upon his body's arrival in the mail on November 20, 2024, Snoopy swooped down into the new stone body, and rested easy.
