This particular set will really only be chosen by those who are true fans of the comic than just the game Metroid. Kabutroid is a custom character whom depicts... well... me, the author. This hotplate is unique to all the others in another way as well. It uses at least twice the number of colours of any other hotplate or coaster (with the exception of Geruta, whom she still far exceeds). If you haven't guessed, Kabutroid is a cross between a Metroid (from Metroid obviously) and a Kabutops (from Pokemon).
Kabutroid goes with the Ripper in that according to the comic storyline, Kabutroid has a pet Ripper, whom she downloaded to her home computer to go at a blazing speed. The Ripper is thusly also known as "Speedy".
