Found it 8/26/2007 by Kabuthunk
Had just found a nearby geocache, and decided to tackle one (actually, several) of the Conquistas. The roads seemed to be dead-silent when we were there, not a soul to be seen anywhere, and it had been found sometime recently (didn't even realize it had been found today. My palm pilot only gave me that Ztirnats found it on the 18th). Sounds like prime hunting time for a Conquista BigSmile.

Hopping out of the car, Night-Red and myself began looking around. Night-Red's first spot (which I had initially abandoned, since it was just a liiiiiittle too far away from the coords for me to have bothered with from the get-go) turned out to be a dead end (I'm guessing there was some kind of animal-based digging around there).

Random note that I think is necessary to give to people here... your hands shouldn't need to delve into impossible-to-see-inside-of electrical devices. Just a safety precaution to keep hands away from potential unpleasantness.

In retrospect, I should have stuck with my thought of not bothering with Night-Red's dead end at all (that being said electrical device)... but he had found a cache earlier in the day damn-near instantly, so I figured I'd see how well his luck held out. Apparently it didn't ToungeOut.

Nonetheless... I went back to where I first thought the cache would be, and began looking. Cramming my hand into every nook and cranny I could find... I eventually came out victorious BigSmile.

Again... I still haven't gotten around to it, but I should go through my notebook and compile the various numbers from the various countries that I've gotten, but haven't finished the Multi for. I'm pretty sure I've accidentally thrown away one or two, and it'd also help me keep track of how close I am to having full coordinates to the end Multi.

In either case... another Conquista... Conquista'd ToungeOut.

Took: Nothing
Left: Logbook entry and micromail ball
