Fifteen degrees: A cold day in July. Fifteen degrees: A highly educated individual. Fifteen degrees: Knowing someone through fourteen other people. Fifteen degrees: An acute angle. Fifteen degrees: The temperature to which the volume of the gas pump is corrected. Fifteen degrees: A warm day in November. Which will it be? This cache could be tricky or it could be simple; it all depends on your interpretation. It also depends on how dusty you are willing to get. The coordinates were the average of four, and had good accuracy. I have confidence that they'll bring you to the cache. Perhaps not directly, but... you'll see! Let's call the cache container a large "Small" or a little "Regular". The terrain rating is based on what you must do to retrieve the cache, more than actually difficult terrain. There is no FTF certificate, but the first finder should take the First To Find coin in the cache. Cache is probably best left to daytime hours, and you may want to bring a little light regardless. Pfft, as if you can't do this in business clothes Dani. I got maybe a slight scuff of dust on my pant leg, and that's about the entirety of the dirtiness that showed up on my clothes from the cache . And had I been a bit more careful or had worn less baggy pants, I'd have avoided even that.

But... getting ahead of myself here. While chilling at a nearby event cache to see off Junglehair and Tromelin, a group of us decided to take a quick break from the chatter there to go after a nearby cache. It was starting to feel unusually warm in the pub anyway, and since the rain had stopped it was nice and cool (and no longer even remotely as humid!) outside. So it worked out well.

Going with a group was an added bonus as well. Since I grew up in the country, basically anything North of Grant Ave. still makes me paranoid as hell, so being with others made me feel a LOT better about being out here. Woulda been nice for the other cache today, but I still managed . Anyways, during our walk from the Elephant and Castle, which included dani_carriere, Jimbo 2, netleyhunter, Wagonmaker, and... 1Queen if I'm not mistaken, Wagonmaker decided to give us a bit of a hint on the way over. Basically... increasing our odds from 25% to 33% for a lucky find . In the end, it turns out that I found myself inside that 33%. Clearly I should get a lottery ticket now... I think the odds on that are around the same .

Now... how best to word this to avoid spoilers. I may have to make this fairly vague. As we... entered the vicinity, there was some hesitation as to where to start looking. We ended up splitting apart a bit in order to speed up the search process. But then again, entering the vicinity apparently wasn't the best smelling thing on earth today... hopefully that'll air out overnight. In either case, Jimbo 2 and I stuck together and began the hunt. As we neared ground zero, Jimbo 2 quickly discovered the reasoning behind the cache name... which at least somewhat helped us. Not much... but a little bit, anyway. To me, it was fairly apparent where the cache would be hidden, so pretty much immediately after getting to ground zero, I set about going after it.

As I said earlier... country-boy here. Getting a little dirty barely slows me down. Heck, if I'm in the mood for a nice, dirty, swampy cache, it'll even speed me up! In either case, I was able to very quickly reach the cache and bring it back to Jimbo 2. He gave a call to the others that the cache had been found, and the logbook quickly found its way through all the cachers to be signed while I dropped in a chainmail ball. Good size for a cache, too! Mental note if I have any decent sized travelbugs that I want to drop somewhere in the city.

However, after all was said and done, I decided that I shouldn't be the only person to have fun! I asked who else wanted to put the cache back, so at least one other person gets to experience the same thing as I did, what with deciding how best to reach it. Jimbo 2 volunteered, and he quickly placed the cache back as found. A quick check from Wagonmaker confirmed it was placed correctly, so all in all, mission accomplished!

Thanks for the cache, man! I love caches that involve... shall we say... difficulties in staying clean to get them .
