And once again, our awesome friend hax0rjax has come to our aid yet again! Upon learning that our macbox decided to destroy itself due to sitting for the several years that we were during the great wait, hax0rjax and I troubleshot that poor thing for hours upon hours upon hours... about five times longer than any reasonable human would... we determined that it was just straight-up pooched. It didn't take to a recovery at all, it didn't take to an alternate method of recovery at all, the battery just straight-up wouldn't hold a charge, and the ram... still seemed like it was choking on itself the entire way through. It was like I was back in my 386 days on dialup or something.
Anyways, it is set to be disassembled and/or have a doornail put through it, and THANK YOU hax0rjax, for knowing people who have extra hardware kicking around and was willing to throw some of it around! Abby has a computer! I have a computer (that runs things other than kolourpaint lol)! I'll be able to stream again! I'll be able to do video editing! And I even got like... half the stickers off of the old macbook! We've got us a macbook pro for streamage, and macbook air for browsage, and everything is working, WOOOOOH!
